Lawrenceburg Primary Preschool
A Day in the Life of a Preschool Student
The Lawrenceburg Primary Preschool curriculum, designed for students ages 3 to 5 years old, is aligned to Kindergarten Readiness standards and includes "Heggerty" visual phonics, planned play centers in the gym, fine motor and gross motor skills, "Minds-in-Motion" activities, and special classes in art, music, and library. All four classrooms are staffed with a teacher and an instructional assistant. Our students also enjoy taking community-based field trips.
Lawrenceburg Primary Preschool students have the opportunity to eat school breakfast and lunch for a fee and they have two snack times. There is also nap time in the middle of the day, as well as three recess times where students play at a playground tailored for children ages 2 to 5.
